Central to this growth is the STP scheme, exclusively designed to promote and export computer software and related services using communication links or physical media. This scheme integrates elements from the government’s 100 percent Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Export Processing Zones (EPZs), and global Science Parks/Technology Parks concepts, focusing exclusively on the software sector.

The collaboration with the MIT Fab Lab Foundation USA led to establishing the FAB Lab in Bhubaneswar, operational since April 2019.
