In his keynote address, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi underscored his administration’s proactive governance model aimed at empowering citizens and honoring cultural legacies. “From reopening all four gates of the Jagannath Temple in Puri to ensure complete access for devotees, to launching the Subhadra Yojana for women’s empowerment, creating a Rs 500 crore temple development corpus, and approving a bonus of Rs 800 per quintal for paddy farmers, we have worked across sectors to fulfill the promises made to the people,” he said. “By integrating natural resources with cultural heritage and contemporary infrastructure, Odisha is contributing powerfully to the national vision of Viksit Bharat,” he added.

The presence of Smt. Pravati Parida, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, added further depth to the discussions, as she emphasized the pivotal role of women’s leadership and entrepreneurship in shaping effective governance and driving social progress. In her address, she highlighted the impactful implementation of the Subhadra Yojana, the empowering objectives of the Lakhpati Didi Scheme aimed at enhancing women’s economic independence, and the broad-based reach of the Jagrukta Abhiyan, which promotes civic awareness at the grassroots level. Her remarks underscored the government’s commitment to inclusive, women-centric development as a cornerstone of Odisha’s sustainable growth.
